the bark of the tree Richeria grandis. It has had a long reputation in the Caribbean. The name "Bois Bande" means "Erect wood". The tree is found in Grenada, Trinidad, Dominica, Costa Rica, St Lucia, other Caribbean Islands and Brazil.
ingredients: bois bande, west Indian bay leaf, cinnamon, lemon grass, sea moss, clove, & mace.
instructions: add pack to 1 bottle 750ml rum and let steep until desired strength [1 month min recommended].
