Mace oil from the island of Grenada
With its nutty and slightly sweet, nutmeg the seed from a tropical evergreen tree (myristica fragrans). Mace is the red lacy coating (called the aril or blades) that encases the nutmeg seed. Tho native to Indonesia and it’s also found in some Caribbean islands, particularly Grenada, where nutmeg is the national symbol and appears on the country's flag.
Store mace oil away from heat and light to retain its freshness.
